Love [loss] & Identity

This series of work started in 2013.  It was a journey of feelings, which like a book has a title, beginning and ending. It began when my father in law was diagnosed with cancer and little did I know at the time that before finishing the whole series my own father would pass away from the exact same disease.

Although it has been called Love [loss] & Identity the series has been an exploration of family history, extinction, war and beauty.

Some of the prints from this series have already sold out, some exhibited at the Royal Academy summer show, some at Bite: Artists making prints at the Mall Galleries.

A series started with postage stamp size images drawn in my sketch book and developed from there. With additions and subtractions along the way.  It was a series where I reignited my love of drawing.
